Hardwood Floor Deep Clean and Buff
Intended for oiled, waxed, or lacquered oak, pine, and parquet floors that look tired but do not yet warrant drum sanding. We lift grey grime from open grain lines, hand-scrape dirty expansion seams, and buff a fresh protective maintenance oil or satin emulsion into the wood. The wood glows with warmth while keeping its acquired patina.

Why our approach works
Soil lifting, seam de-gunking, and maintenance oil buffing for solid and engineered timber.
Preserves timber thickness
Deep cleaning avoids sanding away the precious wear layer of historic floorboards and engineered planks.
Safe moisture balance
Our twin-brush machinery deposits and retrieves moisture in a fraction of a second, preventing cupping.
Restores timber water repellency
The buffed maintenance oil restores the surface tension so accidental spills bead up instead of soaking in.
How we approach your home
-
1
Timber assessment
We determine whether the timber finish is penetrating oil, hardwax, or polyurethane to match chemistry.
-
2
Counter-rotating brush extraction
Our machine runs minimal moisture directly into the grain and sucks it back before it penetrates joints.
-
3
Border and seam detailing
We hand-clean corners, door rebates, and tight parquet seams where machines cannot reach.
-
4
Oil feeding and friction buffing
We spread breathable maintenance oil across the wood and buff it down until dry to the touch.
Our craftsmanship commitment
We do not leave until we have walked the finished surface with you in good daylight. If any detail agreed in your scope does not meet the standard, we stay or return within three days to adjust it at no charge. Pricing & payment
Questions about this service
Is this the same as sanding my floors back to raw wood?
No, we clean the surface and refresh the protective layer without cutting into the wood or creating airborne sawdust.
Can you fix deep black water stains from pot plants?
Surface water marks fade nicely with deep cleaning, but deep tannin staining may require local spot sanding and oxalic acid treatment.
When can furniture be moved back into the room?
Light foot traffic is fine after four hours, and furniture can be moved back carefully after eight hours.
